Lee Lefkowitz focuses his practice on a wide variety of litigation matters in federal and state court.

Mr. Lefkowitz received his B.A. (cum laude) from Binghamton University where he double-majored in mathematical sciences and English. He received his J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law (cum laude), where he was a member of the Cardozo Journal of International and Comparative Law and a recipient of the Dean’s Merit Scholarship. After graduating law school, Mr. Lefkowitz served as a post-graduate fellow to the Honorable Doris Ling-Cohan of the Supreme Court, State of New York, New York County, working primarily on commercial litigation cases.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Lefkowitz worked for two national law firms. He defended and prosecuted liability cases against professionals, with an emphasis on attorney malpractice and civil white-collar fraud/conversion actions. Mr. Lefkowitz also defended and prosecuted general commercial litigation cases, focusing on the areas of financial services and securitized loans. Mr. Lefkowitz has experience conducting jury trials, mediation/arbitration, appeals, and motion practice, and has litigated cases in federal and state courts in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

Mr. Lefkowitz is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Washington, D.C. He is a member of the bars of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the U.S. District Courts for the District of New Jersey, and for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
